England lost 15-6. We were denied a try 3 minutes into the second half which was proven on the replay to be a bad decision.

Oh, come on! You'll definitely need your eyes tested. His left foot touched the side line, ball (in his hands) still not touching ground. Then his feet lifts up and over the line before he puts the ball down. There is absolutely no doubt that it was not a try. Yes, if there wasn't that initial touch of the line, it should have been a try. But if you touch the line, it is out. If, but, shoulda, woulda, coulda, didn't. Time to take your medicine And remember, there was that 36-0 as well.

But no doubt, England was written off, dead and buried and they made it to the final. A great comeback. I particularly liked them taking Australia out. However, in the final, the best team won. :yahoo:

I concede, I have seen it again and being a Brit I can take it on the chin. In all honesty the best team won, we were outplayed and I am just glad it was a respectable score......without a zero!

Respectable score indeed. Good contest that had me worried, despite our lead, right to the end. Like I said, a massive comeback from that 36 - <watchimacallit>.

Oh, and my sympathies - does not look like Hamilton is going to make it either. Pity - I was rooting for him too.
