Feejer,
With all respect, your like the moth that can't resist flying into the flame.

First with continually posting so much off topic after being nudged, warned etc...

then of course your open invitation to be dogpiled "why do my posts get pounced on?"

political posts

posting PM's

and now multiple posts to say good bye (this one and the other ... if anyone needs me, i'm at)

It's comical at this point. STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD. The sad part is that you are probably a great guy who has a passion for motorcycles and are just over-using the forum to fulfill needs that should be filled, in part, elswhere.

Perhaps if you take a self-imposed break, you will be able to return with newfound clarity and appreciation of what the FJRforum is and is not.
i think this was a superb post. point was made without offending original poster, and actually made a guess that poster is a good guy. excellent post.

Besides a "Quote of the Week" section, we also need another new area of the forum.................
"5th Grade Girl Drama Queen Topic of the Week".

*** No offense was intended or implied to any actual 5th grade girl Drama Queens.
Maybe we just need a "Hall of Shame" of sorts...you know, a place to hang all of the great "I'm outta here!", "Screw you guys!", and "I'm taking my toys to another playground!!" type of quotes.

No doubt about it..... Feejer222 is a good guy, and I enjoy the hell out of his racing posts.

That said, a cursory look see at his FJR/moto-racing posts to his jokes/off-topic posts do reveal an unbalanced ratio here.

Only one thing to do in a situation like this.... GO RIDE, and come back with a renewed perspective on things.

Or, take a new tack on Anglo-American teasing: start a poll to see who is going to do better on the Yamaha Tech 3 team: American Colin Edwards, or that young British upstart.... what's his name again? Oh yeah... Toseland, I believe.

:D

This drama is ridiculous. Rules are rules and trying to call out someone by using a PM is just poor taste.

I am reminded of some lyrics written by that great sage Weird Al:

"don't be whiny or ...I might just have to get medieval on your heinie"

Dale,

You're a day late and a dollar short

Graham - you're a good guy and I've enjoyed our discussions on and off forum. I hate to see dogpiles on a good guy, but, you've been around this board long enough to know that there are a bunch of 'yeah! what he said' types on this forum. You know how to reach me if you need me, bro.

I almost missed your disclaimer and got really mad. Call me later about tonight's math homework, Scooter.

I did miss the disclaimer! Actually, I missed that it was SkooterG... I saw the "antenna Jack" and assumed it was odot...somehow I just accepted the post and it made sense that way. Hmmmmmm... :dribble:

Has anyone else noted that their avatars look alike....heck, THEY look alike. Are Greg and Ray related?

Graham, I'm sorry things have gotten so "turned sideways" for you. I also have enjoyed your incite into and passion for the racing world. Fire up the FJR, go for a long ride, then ride some more. Get your head on straight and come back.

Got to love Malve's posts! Very thoughtful and interesting and on point. Looking forward to seeing you in Golden so Marianne and I can get caught up on your news. Hope you are bringing your better half!

Sorry for the hijack!

I find the thread title amusing, in that it was used as a reason for the "bye, y'all," when in actuality it was the warning he'd received from the admins.

For ScooterG, I have that drama queen in my house, but she's in the 10th grade, not the 5th. I only thought she was the spawn of Satan back then. Now I'm positively sure of it!

I think you may have meant "insight" Mike.... :)

incite

to encourage someone to do or feel something unpleasant or violent:

insight

(the ability to have) a clear, deep and sometimes sudden understanding of a complicated problem or situation:

I noticed that, too. Just loved the irony...

...and hey feejer222..I've enjoyed your racing posts and photos...keep it up. I love the international perspective and would hate to lose it.

...but I do know that once someones come back after saying goodbye to say goodbye a second time, they qualify for the Drama Queen Button Of the Week.
Hey, where'd you get that button? Win another contest?

What if a forum member says "Screw you guys, I'm going home", then sneaks back as an FNG to lurk anonimously? Do they earn something?

That's why big brother records IP addresses.Dunno about what they earn. Big brother doesn't disclose that. (Nor do I want to find out :scare: )
