I had that same thought, but then the flashing gauge is soooo...er...hypnotic.

Of course, I could use on of dcarver's tricks and apply some blue painters tape.

Hal, PM sent.

Here are some photos of a Gen I fuel pump. Boy-O-boy, this thread is a blast from the past: Old EZBoard fuel pump thread
Still has my old avatar even-Frank was but a baby then. Sure miss the old Sleazyboard days-not!
Yeah...those were the days. Most of the "personalities" moved to this blue room when Slappy and crew opened this forum. There are still some fine folks who frequent that place, but the humor and familiarity seems ot be here.

:yahoo: SUCCESS!!! :yahoo:

I checked my cell voice mail before leaving work and there was a message from the dealer from whom I ordered the pump assembly, "Your part is in!"

Und zo, ve shtoppen en gettin' onna vay home. Ist vorken pretty guhd. No blinken en nodden, schust be reportin da level uff fuel, jah!

Now to go replace the front brakes I wasn't satisfied with when changing tires for NAFO. Someone in Sacramento is a happy person tonight!

Jah! Ve been overcomin mit "shtoopid" und "klumsy" vitch equals shpensive!

My cure-all will be NAFO, seeing the good FJR people from all over the country and getting to ride the Rockies!

Good news Mike. Now put the tools away and step away from the bike before you do anything else. Its to close to NAFO. :)

I did have to do a quick tire change last night because I found the new Storm I had been saving has a defect so now my wifes bike doesn't have a front tire. Good thing she is flying in.
