Now!?! Hell, I won't pack until the weekend before. If I forget something, which is highly likely, it must not have been that important.

Hell, I don't pack until the night before!

So what's to pack? Money, credit card, extra underwear (if you're not commando), some clothes to wear when off the bike, toothbrush (for me CPAP). Done!

Tom, you seemed to have packed a bit more than that at SEOR! I think the largest item may have been BEER!!
Like Bob, I pack the night before since I travel fairly light (I get beer locally).

I have learned, I can pretty easily fit 2-cases and still have room tor the necessities. The FJR is a wondrous machine.

Just got back from my 16 day Rockies adventure.

I over-packed as usual, but unloading and loading at a different motel every day gets old. So I'm not thinking of packing in any way shape or form until the night prior.

Besides, Vikings fans simply hate Packers!

Seeing how DonDeMon has a crap load of free time and needs to excersize his shoulder, he should add JohnD to the attendees list. How do I know he's coming? He's offered to split his room with me. I'd consider that pretty good evidence. He says that Mike (Moosehead) is coming down as well.

Damn it this looks like a fun group. I wish I could have a redo on vacation picks as I would love to make it to Lewisburg.

This is why I pack bourbon, it's a lot lighter than beer bottles...and I refuse to drink anything out of a can.

Thanks Everybody for info on Train Excursions, went with the Cass Scenic RR 1100 departure on 9/26, should be back in time for the Banquet.

Good choice! I did this a few yrs back, thoroughly enjoyed it. Be sure to take a little cooler with drink and maybe some munchies, they don't mind.

I reconfirmed w Debbie, we are leaving 9/23 (Weds) for this shindig, making a stop-over somewhere down in the PA Mountains Hills (now that I've ridden down the Rockies, they are now simply hills here on the East coast, yes, including the Appalachians, 'Daks and Smokies).

So instead of being the last ones there on Thurs, if all goes well, I will have already downed a few before y'all shew-up!
