Tyler, you're one of the people we look forward to meeting! She loves your ride reports and I told her this could be a one time opportunity. We'll be spending the whole week on 2 wheels!

Just be prepared, if she's at the dinner table with ya, and a couple of cocktails downed... she jus might yell out (at the top of her lungs)....

Not sure what your plans are for Nashville, but we will probably already be at EOM by the time you come through!

Wife gave me the go ahead over the weekend.
Room booked as of 5 minutes ago. Coming in for Friday and Saturday nights.

This will be the end of our vacation week and we're coming by way of Barber Motorsports Museum in Alabama followed by a couple of days in Nashville, TN and Louisville, KY. Hope no one objects to her Harley!

Speaking of which, does anyone have a personal contact at either Swampfox location (Bluefield or Beckley) that I could name drop with? The other option I've been told is Star City Powersports near Roanoke.

Plan on spending Tuesday and Wednesday in Nashville then head to either Louisville or Lexington KY for Thursday. She loves horses and wants to see some of that area since we've never been there before. Riding up to EOM on Friday morning. I figure since she went for the Barber trip and Nashville and EOM. I at least owe her some horsey time. She's looking forward to the trip too though.

He's actually the one who sent me the dealer info via Wayne as to where the dealers were but said he didn't have any direct contact with anyone specific.

Yeah I scoped all of them out... really I don't care where the dealer is as long as they'll let me rent!

Check around Shelbyville too (about 50 miles south of Nashville)....that is the home of the Tennessee walking horse.

Depending on what kind of horses she like.... There are plenty of horsey things to do around that area!!!! Louisville has Churchill Downs (Kentucky Derby, eh?). Lexington has the Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland Raceway, and The Red Mile. Peg them on the right day.... Track tours are sometimes offered. Or even racing could be going on. Beautiful area to ride in also!!! Rolling hills of pastures..... *drool*

Didn't know Wayne got a new gig. I thought he was retired. Just from the military I guess, not life. I am still up for a low budget show up and ride gig if he is currently overwhelmed. I know how that can be sometimes myself.

The mgr at Swampfox in Beckley said he had just sold a couple of Spyders to a rental company, Ride On Adventures, in Sutton. He gave me their contact info, I contacted them, and they said they could help me out! B)
