Don Q is rum, Pete. If you find some, try the Gran Añejo. It'll change your life. Just ask ExtremeMarine. Yummmmmm.. :yes:I'll have bottle of Don Julio anejo, and I don't drink much. I'm bringing it for those who do!Never heard of Don Q.
I didn't say it 1,378 times. That was the number of shots you had. You probably don't remember. :no:Don't feel bad Pete, neither did I until I met Vic, then I heard it 1,378 times over a weekend! Love 'ya Vic!
Vic, my brother, that's how many you thought I had. What you don't remember, is your somewhat spectacular rendition of Swan Lake in a tutu. Steve is a witness, but he's in the WPP now, and can't testify. Remember, sip......not gulp.I didn't say it 1,378 times. That was the number of shots you had. I visited the Flight 93 Memorial, before the National Park System actually built the Memorial there. A memory I'll never forget...One month away, and getting excited!
We plan to explore Virginia, and some surrounding areas, for the week after EOM, as we've only ever passed through. When we leave Wytheville, we plan on heading up through the middle of the state, to Winchester, VA. From there, we want to find Patsy Cline's birthplace, childhood home(s), and burial spot. Marie is a HUGE fan of Patsy, and she's very excited about this prospect!
From Winchester, I want to visit Harper's Ferry and Antietam National Battleground, as I heard them mentioned so many times in historical context, and really know very little about them. I figure a visit to them will give us some intimate insight to their significance.
Also, a couple of hours away will be the United Airlines Flight 93 Memorial. The story of the people on board is so tragic, yet inspiring, that I feel compelled to learn more of their courage.
Tires will be put on, hopefully this week, and then start sorting out the packing situation. We're really looking forward to seeing familiar faces again, and meeting new ones!
