A Bizillion thanks to JWilly for so patiently and persistently posting files and taking all the revisions I sent along the way!
I received my Garmin 2009 map disk Friday afternoon. Today the route files rebuilt using 2009 maps is now posted on the FJREOM web site.

There were more than a handful of touch-ups to perform. 2009 maps think several of the small towns used as route points are located a block away from their 2008 entries. This causes your GPS to do some annoying things like run you through an intersection where you should have turned left, then immediately tell you to make a U-turn and turn right.
The only way to avoid this is to "ride" each route on the computer, one mile at a time. So that's what I just finished doing for the v2009 map/route files.
IF YOU HAVE 2009 MAPS ON YOUR GPS, YOU SHOULD TAKE THE TIME TO LOAD THE NEW ROUTE FILES.
If you don't then I wouldn't worry much about it. I charge one adult beverage for every complaint about stupid U-turns you make me listen to. But I will listen.
