Looks like security camera footage. I wonder if the guy was trying to steal the bike and the homeowner came in time to start the garage door down.
I don't know if everyone gets the same trailer ad on their video or not, but at the end of the video when I watched it there was a trailer ad for shoe lifts to make one taller. Being taller wouldn't have helped this guy.
Hey, maybe if he hadn't taken the time to put on his protective gear, he could have slid under the door before it closed on him. Another argument against ATGATT.

That must be SOME kind of homeowner garage. It appears to be some sort of parking structure judging from the size of the cement column and the roll-up door to the left.
The better question might be: Why didn't he stop when he saw the door lowering?
Geez....the door barely clears his handlebars!
Definitely a "DOH!" moment.

Ex parking attendant here. They probably didn't stop thinking the electric eye thats suppose to lift the door back up was working. Trouble is we would sometimes disconnect the sensors so the door would come down if we had trouble in the circuit panel. And no thats not a garage where I worked. And I didn't take anyones change from thier ashtray or wreck a car. :glare:
This person should had never rode a bike. The clown didn't even try to duck. Just looked at it square and colided. DUH!! More gene pool cleansing needed.

I’ve looked at this video several times and have asked myself, “what was this guy thinking”. I bet he was thinking about money problems, relationship problems, work problems, whatever, but not thinking about what he was doing.
Although humorous , the video is a great example of why it is important to be focused on what you’re doing before you put your bike in gear!
