Thanks Ben - I did a little searching last night and couldn't find anything to indicate what it meant.
So...

What colour did you buy? The people I've spoken with seem to be split about even on the Brown.

I'm not a big fan of Black, but it'll have to do.
I wanted the adjustable suspension: I just could not see myself kneeling in a parking lot trying to remember how many clicks I should go on each side, so I bought the black ES shown in my avatar.

At first, I did not care much for a black bike. I must admit it grew on me and I am really happy I bought it.

...Ben...

There's one here in Bozeman. (It has some of my drool all over it though)

No sales tax in Montana.

Well looky what I just rode home

After 21 months and 15,000 miles on a Z1000, I'm thrilled to be back on the first motorcycle that I loved. Now I just need to finish fixing all of the sat-too-damned-long problems with my '07 AE and find her a new home...

Hey:

Congrats !! So, did ya ever find out where the dealer stole it from? Or were they still playing "Don't ask, don't tell?" What did they end up selling it for? Anywhere near the DH price?

By the way, if your face hurts, remember it's normal the first couple days after buying one of these things...

And that Bible verse still holds true, "seek and ye shall find." You sure did a lot o seekin'. How cool that you ended up finding your dream-come-true in your own neighborhood.

They wouldn't say where they got it. Base price was a couple hundred less than D&H but then they add crate fees and some other junk so it was probably $500 or so over, plus tax, YES (matched D&H), and a service plan... That final number hurts, but then again, whomever said money can't buy happiness never bought a motorcycle.

Did over 1,100 miles this weekend and hit most of the good roads around Dahlonega, Robbinsville, Hot Springs, Shady Valley, Lake Toxaway... and I got to eat at Bogart's in Waynesville, The Corner Kitchen in Asheville, and Flipside Burgers in Highlands. If you like to ride and eat, those are three great places to end up.

This guy went wide on a curve on NC 215 and smacked the concrete footings for a bridge guardrail. I don't know how he kept it upright but he killed that front wheel. I was very happy to be back on a bike with ABS as he was swerving all over the road in front of me.
