My friend and occasional riding buddy just traded his Hardly Ableson Ultra Classic for a Hondapotamus (aka Goldwing). I've been trying to get him out of his Harley (turtle) shell for years and he decided he had finally had enough after a long road trip with a number of other riders. Noise, vibration, handling and power issues finally made him decide to try something else. Got a great trade for a "new" 2009 and he can't believe how much more bike it is. "Power is almost scary" plus handling, braking etc. Gotta get him on the Feej for a ride sometime... He's a comfort tourer sort of guy so I don't think he would be awfully tempted but it would be yet another eye-opener!

Yep all things in life let alone what type of motorcycle you ride is always relative or a matter of perspective! <_<

Once you can get a Hardley rider away from worshipping the logo on the tank then a whole new world of actual performance and true motorcycle riding is opened up to them. It's like he's been "saved" now. Praise Geeeeeezuuusss! :p
