Expected libations

If all goes well at work the next week or so -- I'll plan on having a libation stop for those Shady Valley riders.

My folks have a small home in Mountain City, TN. If all goes well -- I'll setup something nice for the Friday riders though Shady Valley.

For those interested -- PM me. If noone wants to stop -- I'll not set up anything.

Note -- the house is less than 0.5 miles from 421 on the east side of Iron Mountain (just a few seconds outside of Mountain City on the North side)

+1 Count me in. Rickster when do you plan on leaving for EOM? I plan to leave Daleville around 0630 Thursday morning. I plan to get north of Atlanta as fast as I can and then back road it from there.

Not sure yet -- it will depend on how work goes... expect to leave Thursday around noon, but I'm not certain today -- will know more about Wednesday this week, and hope to leave earlier.

I'll be in Boone on Thursday afternoon. I plan on hitting the chicken wing place for lunch on Friday and participating in the TBS clinic on Friday evening. If there's time in between I'd like to stop in and meet some new folks and have a cold drink. So I guess I'm a maybe. For me, libations while riding would be non-alcoholic.

There will be non-alcoholic libations... expect to have water, and soda.

The stop will be on the North side of Mountain City, I think it's called "Ralph Stout Park".

There's a pavillion, some covered areas, plenty of black-top parking (no gravel, etc.), and public restrooms there.

I hope to be set-up by 9am, and stay until late afternoon, or until I see no more FJR's.

If you're traveling North through Mountain City, after you pass the light at 67 (CVS on the left --I think it's a CVS -- I'm sure it's a pharmacy), about 100 yards or so there is a park on the Left side of the road -- I'll put up an EOM or FJR sign.

If anyone has beverage requests -- lemmme know, and I'll do my best to accomodate!!
