Extended Warranty Y.E.S.

I have an 07 FJR, and my limited warranty is about to experied at the end of the month. I received a letter from Yamaha with an offer to extend my warranty with a Yamaha Extended Service (Y.E.S.) for 2, 3 or 4 years depending how much I want to pay. This offers continued protection against mechanical breakdowns and other benefits (Nationwide assistance, money for towing, rental, etc) with "Genuine Yamaha Protection" parts and all. The price is reasonable $550 for 2 years and $740 for 4 years (good value/for piece of mind).

Has anyone obtained this extended warranty before? for how long? any experiences with it good or bad. Are there any other options out there? Is this the only one offered by Yamaha?
