Fairing Rattle

Anyone know what causes the rattle under the fairing on the 06? I have not been able to find it yet but it sounds like a "plastic" type of rattle. Very noticeable at slow speeds. Thanks

I had a rattle on my 06, the 'W' which covers the windscreen mounting screws was broken. One of the two screws that hold this 'W' in place had been over tightened and this broke the plastic tab off the 'W'.......the screw was still stuck in the broken tab and rattling around loose.....you can find this bit by looking up from under the leading edge of the windscreen......this might be it???

Gaps, thanks for the reply. I've already checked those bolts and attachments. It seems to be coming from under the fairing someplace. I'll just keep $#%^ing with it until it reveals itself.

So the 06's will not "tick" -- they'll just "rattle"
