MsNASCAR and I are new transplants to Arizona from SoCAL and thought we might check out the colors in Sedona the 3rd week of October. The W. Fork Oak Crk Trail parking lot was full ($10 to park) but I managed to talk the guy into letting me in, since the bike takes up very little room. It was well worth it and I managed to click off a couple hundred great shots. Here are a couple:

Now that's some foilage!

Last weekend we were (way down south) in Connecticut visiting second daughter. We were surprised how far behind us they were. They still have a few leaves of various colors on their trees. We are pretty much bare twigs here in Northern New England, except for the oaks that seem to hold their brown leaves until mid-winter. May get our first flakes of the year later this week.
