O.K. I am almost done. Installed these items the last couple of weeks or so:

Madstad bracket

Givi windshield

SW Motech mirror extensions

SW Motech bar risers

Bill Mayer custom seat- 1 week turn around on the build

Givi adapter plate for a topcase

Hepco and Becker center stand- so-so for stability, very well made

Fenda Extenda- sprayed gloss black to almost match the fender

Hepco and Becker crash guards

Adventure Motostuff skid plate in black

SW-Motech radiator protector

Tourtech handle bar mount for my GPS

Tourtech quick release plate to swap GPS from bike to bike

Powerlet outlet in front left fairing, I can now swap my powered up tank bag from bike to bike, includes Autocom, GPS, V1 radar detector, I-pod and a cigarette charger for chargine I-pod, phone etc

Would like bar end weights and hand guards

I am also thinking of Givi side cases, maybe E21's

I am now tapped out and extended. Good thing its been raining or I would be riding instead of farkling.

I call it my Weejer. Pictures soon.

Jebus! That was quick! I *might* be joining you in Wee-dom as early as tomorrow. Would have been there today, but I didn't bring a big enough bat! If I do, I won't be buying any ladies farkles for the Feej, either.

Hey, it took four years to farkle the FJR. I knew what I needed for the Wee. Protection and comfort first. No need for a performance boost on the DL650, can't do a lot. I've got the tank bag to hook up to either bike as well as my Givi top case with my led light kit, plugs into both bikes. Took it out today and no install glitches. Fun bike to ride.

I've got a little catching up to do, but so far my '06 Strom has...

Front fender extender

H & B crash bars - wasn't happy with the cheesy bolt hardware.

H & B center stand - agree the quality is excellent, stability could be better.

Crampbuster wide for these old hands

LaminarLIP - works pretty well, still experimenting with the proper windshield height. This thing does deflect alot of air though.

43 tooth back sprocket - now 6th gear is useable under 75...

Speedo healer - adding this week to fix the highly inaccurate readings, esp with the gearing change.

All I needed was another money pit, but I guess you can't take it with you...

Best argument I ever heard for the Givi before the Yamaha top case for the FJR is the ability to interchange the top case between FJR and the dual sport. Hmm...

dang it. Now I'm on notice and two days before I receive my annual notice. I need a DL650

so many farkles and so little money... LOL So there are a few of you folks that have the Strom as a second bike... Interesting... Tim makes the 3rd guy I let ride mine and then went out and bought one. LOL...
