I knew who filmed that video. Y'Wolf was trolling around the Forum today so I was giving him a chance to step in and perhaps give us some insider's info on the video.

I can see from this video how it is possible to do 1k miles in 24 hours on the Dragon. It's not plain to me how that was done and still have a drivers license at the end of the day

If he'd come up on a log truck cutting a corner, he'd a been screwed. Although he did a decent job of coloring within the lines, there's plenty of other folks on US 129 who can't. He's the example for the wannabees. And its a public road, not a closed course. Folks get T-boned. Folks run off the road. Folks share paint and worse as they both try to stretch the limits of the blind curves.

Ya'll just keep on going over to Deal's Gap. At least the rest of us know where the squids are and we can stay away.

i was there yesterday,30 bikes all day,how nice

you are right about not going there if your skill level is not up to it,we the folks who ride there thany you!!!

Wow, Mr. Wolf, I have watched that clip 3 times now and you are my hero. That is a very smooth ride, no wasted movements or pavement at all. Do you also ride a sport bike of any kind and go even smoother and faster?

well im no faster on a sport bike, reason must be in my head i know its not the bike,,,,but fast is really not important to me haveing fun and being safe is!!

and also my lines are sooo much better now than then!!!

it was done in late nov,,,the temp were a 27 for the low and 44 for the high, just was not many folks around plus the ride was a secret till after it was over
Holy ****, you were cooking on that thing. Was the guy behind you on a Wing also?
yup,he was only able to do a 14+min run so i had to back off a bit but he is a good rider

The Wolfman has been around the Gap for a while. He'll video your ride if you want $$$$

here's another to ponder

Quite impressive to ride a land yacht w/the Duc's

It looked like we lost a rider on that one. Didn't the guy in front slam brakes and end-over? It looks like it.

Hey Wolf....I have seen you at the dragon a few times when I was up there on my Burgman. I envy your confidence........for some reason the "Crossroads of Time" is the turn that I never can get right no matter how slow I run. I have a buddy that rides Pillon to a guy on a scooter and she loves the Dragon. Funniest quote I have ever heard at Deal's Gap:

"I got passed by a DOG riding a SCOOTER!"

You can hear the Camera Bike scraping left and right all the way through the video. Way too close to 10/10ths on a road with blind curves and traffic coming the other way.

Yes, Yellow Wolf is amazing on that Wing...

Ahhhhh, the "Tree of Shame"

-got a small item up on it from moi

didn't go down but stuff falls off my bikes on their own <that's another story !>

I've visited the Gap 4 years running and plan to go back this August

Stay at the Tapoco Lodge (https://www.tapocolodge.com) which is nice and has the rare swimming pool for cooling off in at the end of the day

It's right at the top of the Gap a mile up the road

let's ride safe and be careful out there,

Mike in Nawlins'

Yellow Wolf, I spent a week at the Gap in April and your name came up many times (all good). I hope we get to meet during my next visit. The videos are a thing of beauty.

Ride Safe,
