Faulty neutral indicator and windshield

Sorry. To clarify, the windshield positioning works fine, only the auto retract stopped functioning. I did check if the plug and its connected. I tried to disconnect, which would normally disable the auto retract, and the windshield would not move at all.

Ionbeam, thanks for those tips. Any hints on where the couplers are located? (do I have to pull the fairing?) I was thinking it may be a connector corrosion problem. Thanks!!!

Not to belabor this thread, but a new twist. The tach needle now stops at around 1500 rpm when the key is turned off. Turn the key on, there's a bit of a delay and the needle drops to zero, then both needles cycle.

Can't get digging into it until next week. So far, just an annoyance.
