And you are on the FBI's list of gang members!

We may not like to admit it, but the truth of the matter is that those that own and operate motorcycles are 67% more likely to be involved in illegal or criminal activity than those that do not own or operate a motorcycle.

Darrin Cornia, FBI

UPDATE:

WARNING: Source is very questionable, take with a pound of salt.

That would be you guys are 67% more likely to be criminals. Not 67% of you are criminals.

Do you work for one of the mainstream media outlets?

Well, that's a poorly worded and inflammatory thread title....

Which is too bad because the article is still distressing sans the title-jacking.

Statistics and probability were never one of my strong suits.

But when yer a criminal, who needs that stuff?

Yes. It is still an alarming article, although I would like to see independent corroborations to this story from other sources, than just MSNBC.

I was about to say that the link is to the Washington Post...but as I looked more closely at the URL its a VERY suspicious domain name that appears to fake a legitimate news source by ending .co on the end of it.

I call BS on this one. I think it's fake.

In fact, go to the source's home page and there are faux articles including banning of planes in video games and a bunch of other obviously bogus things.....seems everybody is running for President in 2016....snerk! It may be a spoof without the pizaazz of something like The Onion.

I'm closing the thread as I can see this kind of misinfomration/spoof being misinterpreted as fact. If the OP wants to reopen it they can send me a PM with an alternate legit source for this claim if real.....or if a known spoof then let me know why they didn't place the thread in the correct forum area to begin with.

If you would have posted this in jokes and fun stuff I would have cut you a little slack, although it wasn't very funny or fun IMHO. Placing it in off topic discussion leads me to believe that you may have fallen for what was intended to be satire.

Hopefully, it's life won't be as long as the guy driving off the dock.
