Headed up to Gainesville to pick up the ride tomorrow morning. After about $4K in repairs, she's ready to roll again. No more 15+ hour rides for me...at least not until I can save up some more vacation time. :) I had called last week and they said that they were waiting on a front, right brake caliper, but that it was on back until around the middle of Nov. I said "NO F'N WAY". I started searching and calling. Finally found a salvaged one from a group in LA. Top notch guys. Ordered it on Wed afternoon, was on my doorstep Friday when I got home. Shipping was also more than I originally paid...they picked up the difference. I'll give a proper shout-out in the correct forum section soon.

Time to ride!!!

That is good news Dave- Now how about a tech day for us snow bound Floridians?

BTW- 15+ hour days... One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch. I think it was more

a momentary dose of ill fate. AND I think I got fuel at the station where you were. That

place should be shut down! I got pissed and went across the road to another station.

Sounds good Tony...I'm ready to get together. First thing I need to do though, are reviews of some of the farkles I installed prior to the trip. But let's make a plan to hook up soon. When are you headed out of town again?

I feel your pain. On Oct. 1st, I got bit by the spider. The bike has been in the shop ever since. (I'm having a few other things done to it while its there and its not going smoothly at all) I dont expect to get the bike back until next week. :cray:
