Finally

Got tired of waiting for mother nature and made a path through the ice with the tractor and went for a ride. The paved roads are fine but my 3/4 mile dirt road is shaded so it takes forever to thaw. Once on the pavement I got in about 150 miles on the Spyder and my attitude is much improved.

Glad you were able to get out and play. I cannot imagine being "snowed in", it is simply not a reality where I live. Here I almost always have a choice about whether or not I ride.

I hope to hear some good things about your back soon as well.

Apparently you've never met Ray...

I need to put Insurance and new tires back on the bike so that I can ride as well.

Studs would be fine on the rear but on the front the fenders are fit so close to the tires they just pack up and turn into parking brakes. I have thought about the stud kits for the KLR.

Someday I'll figure out the picture thing but if it takes more than a few mouse clicks I lose interest and everybody knows what a chicken or a spyder looks like.
