Finger Lakes

The lovely and gracious Susie and I will be heading from Columbus, OH, to Buffalo, NY, then to the Finger Lakes region over this coming weekend (Labor Day).

Our current plan is to head to Buffalo on Saturday, 8/30, stay at her sister's place and check out some Wing Festival , then head to the Finger Lakes area on Sunday, hopefully hitting some wineries or something. We have a room somewhere around Corning on Sunday night, then we'll mosey back towards Columbus on Monday.

Anyone in the area care to try to join up?

There is a BMW rally in Watkins Glen this weekend Fri - Mon. I plan to arrive there Fri afternoon and leave late Sunday or real early Monday - border crossing at Buffalo on long weekend is not fun :angry:

I wasn't aware of that rally. Did some looking around and - SHAZAM! Very cool!

Sounds like you have a great weekend in store.

We'll be doing a lap of Lake Seneca and will be through the Watkins Glen area twice on Sunday.

I saw on ADVrider that there will be other FJR's there.
