Give some thought to this accessory. Helped patch a rider up recently. Used bottled water to rinse severe road rash on forearm and back of hand (so it is not carried just for drinking) used part of my tube of neosporin, gauze pads, wrapped with a gauze roll, split the "tail" of the gauze strip, knotted it, and used the ends to tie around the protective bandaging. BIG band-aids around tops of knuckles. He rode (escorted) to the next town where he went to an ER. He had bruises and severe scrapes on his left leg UNDER HIS UNTORN JEANS. I do not travel without a decent first aid kit, and I do not mean two aspirins and a band-aid.
