First FJR "Tour" Rolling Out

O.K., first tour on any motorcycle. Well, I use "tour" very loosly as I only went a little over 2 hours one way to my sister's for the weekend but it is the first time I've loaded up luggage and went on a weekend trip anywhere on a bike. Got to say I'm used to loading a track beast on the trailer and doing trackdays in locations but not actually taking a bike for a weekend somewhere. Just turning over a new leaf and I really enjoyed it. Time to plan some longer trips!!!

ROFL! That's the Frogg Toggs I took. The bags were full with luggage and I don't have a trunk so it got bungeed to the back rest. The jacket is zipped up, that's the wires from my ipod.

Hell no, I got those because I got caught out in the rain recently with the wife and is SUCKED. I haven't taken the tags off but they're not going back. Oh, and the pants are Triumph pants, that has to be at least a little better than Harley. :assassin:

You just helped me decide what color to paint my FJR.

In that first pic the front fender looks like it is a darkish gray metalic. (At least on my computer it does.) That is a great color for an FJR.

Does it look that way to anyone else?

Yeah, it's the color that the '08 AE model came in. I love the '07 AE silver as well but the deal was there on the 08 and the throttle is supposed to be much better on the 08 so I went with it. Love it so far.

Ya, that color is fantastic, almost as nice my Cerrealun (sp?) Silver 04. I remember the first time I saw that color at EOM 08 on Johns bike. Stunning.
