Comparison of '06 to my '04 FJR --
Clutch lever does have a bit stronger pull on the '06. However, no significant difference when 'holding' the lever 'in' -- no more fatigue at a traffic light, etc.
Throttle grip rotary force about the same as the '04. ThrottleRocker would work well. Didn't start the engine so I didn't check for throttle change versus grip movement.
Fit and finish of plastic better on '06. Design has evolved and improved.
Like the change in location for the Emergency Flasher switch. This feature is about as useful as the instantaneous mpg display.
New front calipers look to be an improvement. Double the number of brake pads = double the number of pad leading edges = more braking force.
Space between exhaust headers and radiator appears much bigger -- curved radiator.
New location of fuses is better, although still not too easy to access.

Assembler note --
They were assembling another FJR while I watched.
The 36 mm polished steering stem nut is installed at assembly by the technician. This has been mentioned before when some have noticed that this nut is too loose -- not a factory assembly problem.
Front wheel installed by assembler. Brake calipers, axle pinch bolts, etc -- look to assembler for resolving screw-ups.
Something I forgot to ask --
Is battery charged by assembler before being released for customer pick-up?
