April the 28th I did a SS1000 from Washington, Indiana to Topeka, Kansas and back.

Picked up a National Park stamp at Brown V Board of Education to start my second Iron Butt Ride.

Last night I just got back from a week of riding the southeast collecting 26 more stamps in 10 additional states so I am about half way. Hope to complete on my upcoming vacation in September and do New England for the remainder.

I think the Park Tour has been tougher so far averaging 500 per day and 700 on the last.

good job! Now just keep heading west a little farther and you will find a great place to be on your bike. From the rockies to the pacific is the best, just dont tell em your irish.

Congrats, dunno about the addicting part but it sure does shrink the map for you. Prior to doing my SS1K I dunno if I'd have attempted my out and back trip to NM averaging over 700 miles per day. After the SS1K I was like "Yea, I can do that." Enjoy your future travels, and send in the paperwork! Don't do like I did and leave it on the counter for a year.

Those pesky little round things I call INK are very very addicting...the ride pretty good too. My icon came from one of those NPT heading for Glacier National Park...I suggest doing the run from Yellowstone to Glacier during daylight hours

Congrats on your new accomplishment.

But, is it true?

Are you guys really the World's Toughest Riders?

World's Toughest? Really? No guys in Tajikistan can take you on?

Or is this like World's Best Coffee in the movie "ELF". :D

Just kidding...I know that it is really mind numbing to do those long rides...

No know cure is true.

Last weekend I took off Friday from work and picked up Lincoln's Home in Ill. then north to Herbert Hoover in Iowa. Back track to Indiana Dunes near Chicago and spent the night in Benton Harbor, Mich. Up early to River Raisin National Battlefield in Monroe, Mich. then home. Two days and 1227 miles .

Only nine states left so I will go over the minimum for sure when I head to New England.

Congrats. I picked up Brown V, too. Interesting difference between it and most because of having to hunt down the right office in a govt's building. In that same general area is the Homestead National Monument in NE.

The riding area has indeed shrunk.

Went on a ride to the Dayton Air Museum to get a stamp near by and see the planes. After that on the Hopewell for a stamp and then we are talking about going to the New River Gorge. It's only a couple hundred miles so off we go.

Eight States left and one is right next door.

This thing is in the bag !

This is in the bag.

A few weeks ago I took off for Acadia National Park and all points in between.

New tally is around 70 Parks and 31 states.

I have met the minimum easily and will add to that but at a more leisurely pace now.

Next may be a 48 in 10 or a Coast to Coast / Boarder to Boarder.

Good thing I own a FJR and Tenere

That's pretty cool Scooper.

The bug bit you pretty bad didn't it? LOL

But what great incentive to go out and see the National Parks out there.
