I put 65,000 miles on a stock '07 seat, two-up. Next I spent a couple hundred on the Spencer "It's a great day to ride" LD seat mod and I love it.

My best advice is don't spend money on a seat that you have not previously sat on. It's worth your trouble and time to seek out someone who owns what you are considering and give it a test.

Much of your seat choice depends on your physical size and riding style. It's extremely personal.

Personally, I despise cramp busters and much prefer larger/softer grips and a throttle lock.

When it comes to comfort and miles, you modify the situation with very personal choices. Take your time to make them. Build the miles through practice and let the repetition of complications be the guide to the dispersal of your funds.

Gunny dat!

Much more concise and eloquent than I'd expect from a Gen II Kool-Aid drinker. :assassin:
