Hello,

I’ve been pulling my hair out not understanding why it’s so complicated to post a few pictures. Then I found the instructions on posting them to photo bucket or something....... This second I don’t have time to go sign up, Etc or learn how to load a picture....... If someone wants to mess with it you can Email me and I will shoot you the pictures..... Thanks ! :) :)

There ready to check out. Let me know what ya think.. I can make any changes. There will be a set made that will have lighting options to add your favorite lights, Etc.... We can do anything..... I will start working on the JIG and then move onto the rear sets. As far as price I should have something next week as a price sheet. Thanks

FJ bars? Cool. There are a lot of 80's and early 90's bikes that will benefit.

Any chance you're going to make them for the FJR?

They are for the FJR... LOL I mocked them up on an 08'...... I called them 'FJ' because it reminds me of the Toyota FJ off road truck... Its like a roll bar.. :)

I have four but we can knock it down to three... where do I send them too?

Send them to me and I'll post here. I agree it shouldn't take so many steps to post a pic, but is worth doing for a great forum.

So, the bar goes completely under the bike? Besides the frame mount, what is this mounting to?

IMHO these are great for using while practicing slow speed maneuvers, especially if you have both the front and rear bars fitted.

I was wondering if it is possible to make these so that the main protruding part of the bar can be easily removed for normal riding conditions?

Hey, Carver! Someone stole your OHV Tank Tape !

Re: Bars

Hmmmmm, in'neresting. Let's get Keith to test 'em.

I think a narrower profile might be a bit better looking, but if you are looking for max protection then leave 'em.

Agreed about narrower profile. If it were me making them, I wouldn't have them stick out much more than the sliders do.

I'm wondering if that middle support bar is about the right position for my feet! I'd like it to incorporate hwy pegs.

OK, my 2 cents.

As you've got it now, I'm thinking the tubing diameter looks too small for the extension you've got. To me it looks like it'll fold in a layover at speed.

I'm thinking use 1 1/8" to 1 1/4" tubing from your top mount to the middle and keep it kinda tight, maybe a half to 1" away from the plastic for the basic drop protection. Then add any extension beyond that for lights or footpeg mounts.

I'm thinking that may be his intention since these are connected to the frame. If you love your frame, do you really want something that rigid there when you're sliding along the road, cleaning the ashalt w/ your shorts?

We've already had 1 FJRForum member that cracked his frame because of go boom onto rigid aluminum sliders.
