Old Priest Grade, shot this on 10-11-07. I'm moving soon to a home that is 20 minutes from this little slice of heaven! Note the cage "correct his line" at 2:10. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Very cool! I love that road, I just haven't been down there in over a year. Hmmmm, add one more road to my list to get back to.

Mike - Lemme know when you're planning to be in the area so I can show you a couple of favorites of mine and you've got a place to stay close by.

Keith - Truth is, so many cages "drifting" over the line that speed needs to be kept in check for those blind corner surprises. One day I met a road crew at the bottom that had the road closed off and "had" to return on a closed course with no oncoming traffic. Now THAT was a day to remember, wish I'd have gotten video of that one!

Great vid, just one question was the mic located on top of the tranny? or is it just tht loud? just curious.
The mic is internal to my digital camera (Nikon Coolpix L6). I plan on adding some tunes to the video later, but keep in mind the camera is down near the steering head so it will pick up more engine noise behind the dead space of the windscreen. My ears, which are up in the windstream about 2 1/2 feet higher than the camera mount, pick up less of the engine noise so there is a difference. I haven't experimented with windscreen angles which might make a difference.... thanks for the insight, gives me something else to try.
