I am just delighted that we got out to ride in January. It has been an odd weather year in the beautiful Willamette Valley, with almost no rain in December, none in January until two weeks ago when we had record rain. Fog, freezing fog and snow have rounded out the weather offerings and any decent days to ride have coincided with work days...UNTIL YESTERDAY!!
We got out and put just under 100 miles on the bikes. Karyn had the FJR out and I was on the FZ1 (the cruisers stayed in the garage and pouted).
The river was full, and the falls were nice:
And hard to believe that this pool is about 30 feet upstream from the falls:
All in all, it was a great way to knock the rust off our skills, and get out and ride again.
