Sorry I don't have any pictures, but I just took my first ride this year! It's been a long cold winter here in the Northeast. Long periods of sub-zero temps. followed by one snow storm after another. We had several buildings collapse locally due to snow accumulation in the last few weeks. Today it hit 60 degrees so I left work early and jumped on my FJR. I got about 55 miles in dodging potholes and puddles but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

YAY! But there still must be lots of salt on the roads?

I've been saying "8 weeks" ('til my bike comes out of hibernation) for the past 3 weeks :glare:

We just need some mild weather and lots of road-washing rain :)

It hit +12C today and I was sorely tempted but on closer inspection there was a lot of salt and sand everywhere.

We will be back in the cooler next week so it's still looking like late March / early April.

There was a K1300 BMW at Tim Horton's today but we all know what a bunch of nutbars that Beemer crowd are.

Want me to take another picture of a ride for you Mary Ellen? No problem, really.

OK - thanks, Mikey.

You're too good to me. Really :****:

Luv to Kat :D

I had my first post hibernation ride yesterday and it was awesome. I am glad I did, we are expecting rain for the weekend followed by an icy week...
