Last weekend took my new to me 04 on a trip from St Pete, fl to Titusville. I now understand; was grinning like smiling Bob. Crossing the continental divide here in florida( Howie in the hills for those who are geographically challenged) was a high point. Our friends lived some 4 miles of Florida dirt road. Immediately dicovered that the FJR is not a dirt bike. Keep out of sand!! no didn't drop the bike but had to change my nickers. Bike averaged 43 mpg and ran as advertised.

Had the tps mod done but still had roughness at idle. Thanks to the Forum read about the Barbarian Mod. and performed the deed. my cylinder readings were +12, +14, +08,+07.

accessed the CO program and raised the values by +5 across the board. Bike smothed out. am very happy the bike has 18000 miles on and carries the yes program. Again thanks for providing such a wealth of info and wit. Roadhammer
