Being new to the FJR and new to Colorado we decided to take a run out east of Centennial and see what the plains are like. The plan was to ride up into the mountains to the west and then back home but we ran out of time.

I will have to say to say that it not as flat as I thought it would be. But it is best described as straight. There is a lot of this with a small town occasionally. It was nice to be able to open it up a little though.

Not much to see but still good to be on the bike. Hopefully the snow due this weekend will not stay long and we will get that ride up into the mountains

Thanks for sharing. I remember the eastern part of Colorado to be a long, and boring drive. Used to vacation in the rockies most summers as a kid. I hope to ride the rockies next summer.

Nice RR CigarMike!

Nice picture of the mountains. Tell the photographer she did a great job.

PS - gratuitous pictures of the pillion photographer are always welcome on Fridays, ;)
