Hey, I've been gone for a week.....any idea how Eric is doing? (Other than embarassment and a crushed ego and spirit).

You bet.

He spent one week in the hospital, and is home now and basically functioning he says with his busted up body, but he has temporarily (hopefully) lost the use of his right arm and hand due to some nerve damage.
