Well it is hardly news with the rally going on, but I finished the 1150 miles in under 17 hours.

Easy flat slab in Florida (I95 to I10) West palm to De funiak springs (And back). Ride went great

4:50pm- 9:27am. The challenge was- I did it with the stock seat  Trying to get ready for Jacksonville/

San Diego/Jacksonville.

Does anyone know if you can do prerequisite rides in route? like say the(Extreme) BB1500Gold in

route to San Diego, then count the 1st leg (50CC) as your Multi day ride?

Congrats!!!!

Your playground just got a whole lot bigger!

I think I know what you were asking - and yes, you can try and do a BunBurner Gold 1500 (1500 miles in 24 hrs) while doing one of your cross country legs of a 100CCC.

Nice, you rode right by my neck of the woods. I'm in Panama City Beach, about 50 miles from Highway 10. I'm VERY interested in doing a 50CC or even a 100CCC. What's your timeline, would you like a companion? Maybe we could work out a timeframe and hit it together...strength in numbers, right?

Let me know if your interested. I'd need to do the qualifier ride as well. I have 0 iron butt experience.

Congratulations!

I'm about to start my own SS1k on Wednesday!

The stock seat was "less than comfortable" eh?

I thought I read that the BB1500 gave you 36 hours though, not 24 as someone said. Doesn't matter to me this time, my destination is only 1050 miles away.

BB1500 Gold 1500 miles in 24 hrs is classified as an Extreme ride - must have non extreme ride prior

BB1500 1500 miles in 36 hrs is not and can be done on initial ride

anyone please correct me if this is not accurate?

Does not hurt to exceed 1000 miles as they say the Japanese odometer can be up to 4% off

Good luck on your trip!

Congradulation! I'll see you in San Diego for the return 50CC. I plan on doing the BBG1500 on the way back to the east coast during the 50CC.

You're right, I missed the Gold version when I had looked previously.

Since my mileage of 1050 is coming from Google Maps, I presume that means my 4% off odometer will show in the neighborhood of 1090 miles.

I got the shipping notice from CyclePort this afternoon, my new kevlar pants should be arriving in the morning, so that's the last major thing to clear me to leave! (Thanks again Wayne, and the crew at CyclePort!)

Great! Big Shasta from the panama beach area is considering going too. I will see how I feel returning

to see if I can at least tail behind the first 1500 and finish out riding together. This is all very new to me

with witnesses and receipts and all. I have some changes to make in the equipment area first.

3 weeks from tomorrow !!!
