Welp I finaly got to ride her. Yamaha of Warren delivered it to my house on February 6th. (bunch of snow i couldn't ride it home) I put skyways sliders on, (they came before the bike, Thanks Ian hope your feeling better) put on the Sirius raido with ohiofjr's mount (works like a charm), and needed some non snow covered roads. I rushed home from work put on the helmet and rode her around the block a few times. My daughter said,"YOUR NUTS", but the second time around she came out with the camera, took my picture and then wanted to go with me. She loved it. If you look close you can see my grin from ear to ear. Thanks to all at Yamaha of Warren, Ohio! I Love It!

looking good now get some damned boots on before you freeze your ankles!!

What's that white stuff all over? Did a local pillow factory explode or something?

It only gets better from here.

Congratulations, both on your new bike and on your daughter wanting to share the fun with you.

It was warm enough at my place to ride yesterday but my driveway is long and icy so I didn't go. We're getting new snow today so Mother Nature was just teasing yesterday.

Welcome JiM ! Glad to hear you're happy with the new ride, now if it would just warm up a little & get that dang ice off of the roads...

Congratulations Jim! What a nice looking bike and pic's. The FJR has a eerie way of beckoning its pilot to do some crazy things...it sure is addictive.

May you have a decent spring season early!!

Congrats Jim and welcome! :yahoo: I'm fast starting to really like the 07 color (or perhaps all that snow makes it look especially nice?? ). Spring and warmer riding weather is around the corner (at least that is what I keep thinking......) -- happy riding! Jay

Welcome and Congrats!

Finally got warm enough here to make the ice go away. It's nice to ride now without being on scout for ice. But there is still way too much sand at every corner and intersection.

Congrats - now go over every inch of that expensive alloy you just bought and make sure you've cleaned off every trace of salt residue! As I'm sure you know, it eats the finish toot de sweetie. A little barrier coating of WD-40 wouldn't hurt either (not on the brake rotors though) ;)
