Hey folks,
Just wanted to share whats working for me on my 05.
Me: 43 years old, 6'2, 230 lbs, been riding since I was a kid.
The ergo set up thats working:
Gen -Mar stacked on Heli-Bar. Just enough cable to make it work.
Foot Peg lowering kit
Wild Bill's Brackets with Kuryakyn offset pegs
Airhawk Cushion backrest on my Nelson Riggs tailbag
What's working when it's cold.
Handguards and heated grips
What's working for safety
55 watt caliper mounted Halogen Mototlights. See and be Seen!
The big picture(s)
I'm as happy as one of my Boston Terriers with his favorite toy!
What isn't visible.
A PCIII loaded with Walley's smoothness map, man....that is a sweet map...no lean surging, abruptness....nice
It is very comfortable..not as comfortable as my other bike...but's she a Unique case of out-of-this world comfort.
She holds a lot of stuff between the Givi Topcase and The nelson -Rigg Bag. If I need more i put the bags on.
If I really need to max out I have a 26 Litre RKA tankbag.
She doesn't hold as much as my little station wagon, but she holds all I need.
Thanks to all the Forum members who have sold me farkles, I am pleased to reprt I have put them to good use.
I still have to install the mirror extenders, will do that next time I have the panels off.
Love my FJR
