Did you do anything to protect your rights like license or copyright the picture?

OTH, it looks like they should have been good sports and asked you if they may use your picture. (Then go ahead and use it anyway, even if you said no )

It’s sometimes hard to remember that everything we write and any graphics we put online are in the public domain, free for anyone to use or misuse, unless you have taken steps to protect your material. We have had several threads asking people to show their favorite trip pictures, favorite bike pictures, vacation pixs, etc. and there have been dozens of beautiful pictures posted. Anyone can use those pictures and profit from them without your knowledge or permission unless they are protected, and then it is up to you to enforce the protection.

Great calendar, got a picture of my old FJ1200 in there as well. I miss that bike, was my first Yamaha, loved the black/blue paint and the power that thing put down. It was the king of the roll on back in it's day.

Just me...but if'n I was gonna buy a calendar, I would buy a pashnit calendar with the picture from Andrew. No offense to the people that contributed pictures for this calendar, but I know the pashnit site and don't know the seller of this calendar. Makes no difference to me which others buy...just indicating my preference to a seller I feel connected to.

I realized after i posted that and then looked thru my pictures that the pictures i thought were mine were actually taken by Renojohn whom i was riding with at the time. I have since spoken with john and he confirmed that he sent the pictures to the guy in the UK.
