From ADVRider...

2008 Yamaha FZ1. 22xxx miles, tall Yamaha windshield, (pictured with small windshield) Yamaha full front fairing, Yamaha side cases, heated grips, wired for heated gear with panel mounted controller, wired for GPS and battery tender, lowered foot pegs and raised handlebars. Have stock parts too. Bike is in like new condition. Oil and filter and 2 new tires just over 1000 miles ago. Never dropped, always garaged. I bought it new and am a retired mechanic so I did my own service.

Now about the FJR1000 part. In Europe Yamaha sells a FZ1 TE, the touring version, that has cases, fairing and a tall windshield. The fairing and windshield you can get from Yamaha dealers in the US as accessories. The cases, mounts and turn signals can only be purchased from a European or Canadian dealer. They are the same cases the FJR1300 uses, but require FZ1 mounts. I didn’t want ugly Givi cases on a nice looking bike, so I sourced the cases and mounts from a Canadian dealer, (ouch $$$$$) they are color matched and use the same key as the ignition switch. They detach with the handle to carry. So many people asked me “what is that?” that I just had graphics made that say “FJR 1000”, and most just believe it. Haha

Kind of hard to guess a price as there ain’t any to compare it to. NADA average retail on a ’08 FZ1 is over $6000. This one’s above average condition so if someone wanted one set up with cases, it should be worth $5999, so I’ll start there. Located 50 miles southeast of St Louis.

I would consider a trade for a BMW 650GS single or a Honda CBR500X. For a trade I could possibly deliver.

It is a nice looking bike, but the side-bags don't jive with it, except for the color.

Also, for anyone considering a long-term FZ1. Do a search for FZ1 stator failures - it seems to be all over the boards on the FZ1OA forum.

Yep, would look better If they would lower the Concours exhaust and then bring the bags forward a bit.
And the first time it rains someone is going to wish there was a hugger on that rear tire .... I still like it :D
