Sold my fjr. It will be leaving for Houston tomorrow. It is going into good hands. A man that already has one and can appreciate another. I will miss it. The best of rides. It and my old Honda 750 four. Can't see keeping two bikes and my wife likes the harley lounge seat on my 09 ultra. I'll miss the power but here in Lousyana with all the officers trying to make revenue it will just get me in trouble. We are fourth in the nation in ticket writing. Very few curvy roads that are good enough for speed and handeling. It has been fun. I truely will miss this bike.

When you get tired of just one bike, we'll still be here. ;) Can't say I can argue with the reasoning if one is getting more seat time than the other...

HD's are great bikes, just a different style. Remember to wear sunglasses cuz all the chrome can be blinding! Best of luck to you. On the bright side you won't have to read any more NEPRT posts!

Talking about getting tickets I can handle the local police most all ride bikes anyway & since I own the local & only bike shop in Haleyville, AL. there always in & out. HOWEVER ST. TROPPERS are something else we have 4 here in town !!! Which our town has about 4,000 people in it & there is no talking them out of A ticket. Which my cousin was one & he had to write 6 aday to keep is job. He finally quit & went to work in birmingham at the post office!! SORRY TO TALK SO MUCH IT JUST PISSES ME OFF!!!

Sure hated to see it go. Seemed to run sooo good takeing it to the air port to meet the new owner. He sure left with a big smile. Ain't riding with a harley bunch. Most riders I ride with are goldwing, metric cruisers , a few harley mixed in. A few metric sport bikes. I'll still be watching yall. I learned a lot from the good guys on this roost.

You have 687 posts. We all like riding. Keep posting. Tell us about your new ride. Make comparisons. I don't care what you ride, just that your ride...

As someone once said, "it's about the ride, not the bike." Ride safely, have fun, we'll see you soon.

I used to have 2 bikes, didn't work for me either. Like having 2 wives, if I was riding one, I felt like I was ignoring the other.....aw that didn't come out right, but you know what I mean. The Ultra is a great bike, enjoy.

Keep hanging around. Like dcarver said, give us some good comparisons. I would have an ultra in my garage if I could afford it. It's not the bike I have a problem with, it's some of the people who own them.
