My 2007 “A” model hit 60,000 miles yesterday on a 385 mile ride through the CA southern Gold Country (including strafing the Little Dragon).
The bike seems to run and shift more smoothly the more miles it racks up - pretty amazing machine.

My 2006 will roll over 60K sometime this week on my commute to work. Just getting broken in. The unseasonably warm and dry weather in the northeast this fall has really helped me pile on the miles, even though I didn't get in the weekend trips I would have liked to do this summer. My main riding buddies had to back out due to various issues and life events, so I finally just did a weekend ride alone in mid October (425 miles) and I am discovering that I enjoy a solo trip more than I imagined I would. The biggest downside is not being able to split up the cost of motel rooms.

Grey Ghost!

Hope you are doing well and continuing on your FJR journey.

Any chance you could share an update with your fans?

Sending you nothing but good thoughts from Cali!
Doug, Ole' Grey is back in the shop now waiting for the winter checkup, I think it needs CCT and maybe a few other things to get it ready for spring. It has a tad over 570,000 miles on it now. I'm looking to trade my 2015 ES for another non-abs Gen 1 even up as I prefer the older model. 2015 has just under133,000 on it and it's serviced and ready to go. This goes out to anybody with an non abs Gen 1 that would like to swap.
