Searched around but could not find an answer to this question:

Can you reverse the stock shift linkage for a reverse shift pattern?

Edit: Merry Christmas!

My kung fu is stronger than yours!!! Click your shifter here.
Thanks. Read like they did not find an answer, other than to fabricate something new. Appears that didn't happen.

My FZ1 had the same problem. I picked up these rearsets in Japan and they have worked great.

The perfect solution is to swap my FZ1 reasets with an FJR stockers but the chances of them being a straight swap are close to zero. I'll check anyway.

There was one fabrication that was a success
Brilliant. I can do that :D

Ok, nothing else standing in the way of me and the purchase of an FJR.

Thanks guys.

Oh yeah....you guyz cream yer jeanz over reversing the shift pattern and the attendant re-engineering of a motorcycle, and I catch **** for suggesting using the bleed bolt on the thermostat housing to "burp" the cooling system during a coolant change.

Whadda fuxored up bunch of backyard rocket scientists you guys are.

Merry Christmas, ya worthless basties! 'specially you, Carver! :blum:

Humans mock what they do not understand. This means I'd mock your above comment but I fear the newness of stature would leave me open to cruel and unusual attacks! :dribble:

I will not mock the shift linkage engineering effort. Brilliance simplified for my mind :yahoo:
