OK guys, I know I can always count on the forum for lightening up things with a little humor. I'll go get a new tire tomorrow. I have had great service from the PR's in the past so I'll probably go that way. For those of you who don't know me, I was trying to convey displeasure at having to remove the damn tire again and get another one mounted up. I can't/won't ride this one to EOM next month. I absolutely LOVE this FJR. I've had 17 bikes over the years and this is the best all around bike I've ever owned. Don (DCarver) you're on my beer list; Ashe, I owe you a beer from a while back regarding tire issues; the rest of you ******** buy your own beer. :yahoo:

I must not respond to senseless rants.I must not respond to senseless rants.

Damn 10-step programs!!!
What happened to the other 2 steps? :dntknw:

Actually, I was getting quite concerned with the odd wear on the RS's at the 2,500 mile point of my recent trip. Both front and rear were severely triangled and I thought perhaps they may not make it much past 5k. Handling was off and the bike got really flip-floppy into the turns.

Strangely, the tires have seemed to come back with far less triangulation and after 6k, appear to have another 2 or 3k left in them. Go figger.

Further, my dealer did not nail the balance on this set, either. My front's been *slightly* off since the get-go, but the imbalance only reveals itself only in the ultra-legal speeds.

That's pretty much where the "bounce" comes in on mine. Anything above 70 and you start to feel it. Above triple digits and it's much worse. The old "washing machine effect". Twowheel, nice to have met you NAFO.

Kiss-***!
Hey Skooter, be careful now...you don't want the right side to match the left side of that bike now do you. By the way you were a "hoot" at NAFO (kissing *** now!) Come on over to the EOM next month and I'll by you a beer.

Dang,just when I thought I'd get a free beer.

My PR2's were good up to a buck40 plus until officer Warchild put a damper on that kind of fun during the Cal24

*********...I never get anything around here. It must be cuz my FJR is a POS! That's it...I'm buying a freaking Harley.

Ok...I was just kidding...Don't everyone **** their pants all at once. Still, a free beer every now and then would be nice. :(

Phuck dudes, sorry I am late to this party, but those were just Arkansas roads, could have saved you the time and money!!!!
