Is that a barbecue grill instead of a topbox?

Sorry, but if when I go to three wheels it will not be a trike.

(So ........ do Spyders come with built-in barbecue grills? Would be nice to have the pork loin ready after riding for 4 or 5 hours.)

I can't think of any reason why it would be a good idea to put training wheels on an FJR! Something like a Spyder or GW trike makes far more sense if the rider cannot hold the bike upright due to disability.

Edit: At first glance, I thought it had two outrigger wheels like the Voyager kits where the original rear wheel is still the driving wheel. It appears that this one has had the rear wheel replaced by the two (car tire clad) wheels which drive the vehicle. I still think its a bad idea.

I am thinking it is more of an economical thing than anything else. Bike is probably paid for and outriggers a whole lot cheaper than a new trike. That's the only way I could justify it anyway.

OMG!!! Wait until Skooter sees a FJR with TWO CAR TIRES

Brother Alan I should be able to crash that in an hour, it took me two hours with the Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Trike! JSNS, Unsafe At Any Speed!
It's OK Don, it still has the frame sliders on it. That should protect it from your tip-over! Notice there are no photos from the back, which would likely show the big empty space where the rear tire used to be. Looks like some solid engineering though.

Just to make life a bit more 'interesting' it is fitted with a reversing box which means you could go backwards just as fast as you can go forward...................
