have some pics of 2007 with sidecar. I am way too stupid to post pics. Is there anyone who I can email pics to

so you can post them ???? trust me, if any fool can do it I still can't do it, I am an unusual top shelf fool.

Here you go...

Per the OP:

"Belongs to an 86 tr. old in Capitan, N.M. claims the front end is from Holland

and cost over $5000.00 and came with no instructions. Any how, he also rides
a Harley, V-Strom 650 and DR650 daily. "

Is this up for sale?

A car tire makes sense for this set-up.

I would just buy a miata...
A large percentage of the reason I like to ride includes leaning into corners. A sidecar kinda eliminates that fundamental characteristic.

At one point I was considering converting my XS11 into a rig, so I talked with a local sidecar installer. In the course of our conversation, he learned I had an FJR, and said he had done up an FJR for a customer. He opined that putting a sidecar on a sport or sport-tourer was akin to putting a camper on a Ferarri, but that "the customer is always right".

This thing is a monstrosity. I investigated the whole concept a few years ago. You have to replace the who front end of the bike! And the best part is, you can't just disconnect the sidecar to ride around without it! It;s more or less a permanent conversion to a three-wheeler.

If you want to keep riding at 86 years of age, then a hack seems like a good way to go. I dislike trikes a great deal and can see a sidecar in my future someday. Probably not on the FJR tho.

Every summer we see a couple on a sport oriented motorcycle with a side car. Their physically handicapped son with his beloved dog are always in the sidecar. You should see the smiles! Ya, a niche use, but it comes with a ray of sunshine that goes everyplace with the motorcycle.

So what don't you like about a trike, that would not be objectionable about a bike with a side hack??.... BTW I wouldn't have either one, I'd opt for a two seater with 4 wheels.

Don't really know. I don't like kale either, but I can't explain why. I know a three guys that ride with sidecars and they are a happy lot. All three take their dogs with them just about every where and that can't be bad.
