The ECU is about $850.00- $900.00 at the cycle parts warehouse, this dealer is starting to scare me ,they never call me I have to call them for an uodate, but it's still at the $95.00 diognostic fee I have no estimate yet. They don't have authorization to do anything yet.I hav'nt heard from them in two days.Is thier such a thing as a factory rep or arbitrator ?

22k on my 09 never had this problem so far,and original battery. Check battery connections and related parts.

Well, it is taking the dealer an awful long time. They are probably stumped and avoid working on it because they don't know what to do. On the bright side, I think you said that there is a fixed fee for diagnostics, so they are not running up your bill by throwing parts at it.

Hey! I did'nt think i'd miss my fjr ,but I find my self looking at the empty spot where it normally resides, hav'nt been able to listen to my new slip on delkevic exhaust, can't install my new cal-science windshield,or try out my new park and move or install my new ballistic battery.Sorry just wanted to wine a little.!~!

They have had it long enough to test alot of different things mainly thier just chasing wires looking for shorts bad connections, they did try a new fuel pump relay.they are a yamaha dealer and should have access to all sorts of info from the factory techs. But were are into the fourth week and no results ,the mechanic does not work on it full time, just his spare time.

It's been narrowed down to trying a new ecu next week ,that recommendation comes from Yamaha. 20000 miles and a possible dead ecu ?If that is the fix, I'll just be glad to get back home, before I die of old age!

..........and he's got 2.3 billion miles on fjrs............................jsns.

eat a ****, beemer.

I believe the dealer is doing the first meaningful thing.
