FL to CA

Was it anybody here? One of my work buddies said an IB rider left FL and rode a day and a half to get to San Diego. He said he signed some sort of form for the rider. This would have been at the entrance gate to the Northern Division substation. Oh the reason I ask, is that the rider was on an FJR.

That's 2200 plus miles in a day and a half? That's an average of 61.11 mph without stops! That truely is an Iron Butt! Thanks, but I'll Jet Blue for that kinda distance... :blink:

To each his own. Not only does that sound like a blast to me, I may be doing it (CA to FL) in a couple of weeks. It all depends if I can get the time off work.
