How can I be sure this is a 750?

I don't want to get ripped off.

Thats an 83 GS750E or 84 GS700E. They were identical except the 84 was 699cc because of the over 700cc tariffs in 84.

Its not a factory color.

That would be a 750E as the 700's did not have a bikini fairing(round headlight also). Always liked the 750E in the maroon color. I had the '85 700ES-white w/blue.

Also had a GS1100E, mine was a '82 in the nice champagne color. Bought it used in '88 or '89 and let my local dealership rejet it and sync the carbs after I put a full Yosh system on it. The new mechanic who worked on it was Eddie Lawson's/Muzzy's ex wrench. He put new carb boots on rejetted and synced the carbs as well as some other stuff and I must say it was like riding a completely different bike. Ran smooth and hauled ass! :yahoo: Hope Suzuki does like Honda and brings a retro GS1100 or GS1000S into the states :dribble:
