...sucks royally for riding. I'm jus' sayin'.
That is all. <_<
As opposed to NOT riding?

Compared to Californian Hwy 1?

Are you getting so old you can't enjoy change or something different? That's why the highway department created "cloverleaf" off -ramps!

Now you know how spoiled California riders really are. "Hmmmm, where could I ride this week? The coast...the Sierras...the rugged coastline...mountain twisties and passes...rocky inlets and crashing ocean surf...Redwoods and canyons...???? Decisions, decisions."

There are a few back country roads over in the center of the state that aren't too bad.

However, as a displaced Florida native, I have to admit that California is motorcycle heaven! Glad to be here.

I will admit we don't have the mountains and thousands of miles of twisties but we can ride 365 days a year and I think I will take that trade rather than ride a couple months. We do have some nice areas to ride if you know the areas.

STFU! Don't tell or show these ***** our secrets! Next thing you know they'll all be here screwing up our state!

Why do you think I barely ride?

Hot, flat, straight, slow, and boring sum it up. That is why you see so many cruisers - perfect for them!

TWN obviously is not aware of some great riding on central FL roads. Granted not many hills and no mountains but stay off the Interstates and their is some good riding and yes 363 days of the year. Georgia, NC and Tennessee mountains a long days ride.

Wrong part of Florida, obviously.

West panhandle, inland. Gets all the way up to 345 feet around here somewhere.

On my New Year's day ride I actually saw a sign like your avatar up here. Well, OK, it didn't have the 140 miles part. Actually it was only 5 miles. But it was a good road. There's a bunch of 'em up here in the part that's nearly Alabama. This area is still the Apalachians, just not quite as high. . . .

And we don't have quite so many of the damn Yankee elderly up here. Don't allow 'em here, send 'em all to Palm and Miami.

Hope you find yer gerbil soon.

Britton Hill (Highest point in FL) grand total of 345 feet. Just east of Florala.

It's a 30 min ride to nice country back roads with twisties and hills for me. True the main roads are boring, but that's true ANYWHERE.
