I'm on my way down for about 3 weeks. Leaving home March 1st. When it's 0 C outside and 2 feet of snow as far as the eye can see a long straight road is better than a snow covered road!. Dropping a truck in Virginia then on down to the Keys and back up to the pan handle. We'll be leaving Fla and going around the Gulf. Then wandering back to the truck.

After an other-worldly air travel experience this weekend, I take back my smart *** initial post. Florida riding is glorious v. the current state of air travel. My most humble apologies to all you Floridian riders.

Sincerely,

TWN

Apology accepted. Wife and I did 200 miles of riding yesterday down toward Crystal River on the west coast replete with beer-boiled shrimp, blackened grouper, no cold weather gear, pelicans, deer, eagles, cranes, incredible sun set, etc. Everyone should be as lucky.

After living in Florida now for a few years... ya just gotta understand, it's not the typical motorcycle attractions, like awesome twisties at the Gap (which isn't that far away)...

But, what it does have is some of the most beautiful views along the Gulf Coast in the world. That's where you lazily ride gazeing out at the ocean, wind in yer hair (sortof lol), finding those not so well traveled towns along the beaches. There's some real beauty here, and well worth checking out, but do avoid the busy, flat, people who cant drive towns at all costs, make ya wanna park and walk!! no really!

Regards,
