Any NorCal guys on the forum have any experience with "Folsom Cycle" on Clarksville Rd, Folsom ?? Good or bad.I'm changing dealership and checked these guys out today. They say they're a 5 star dealership, have 10 regular FJR customers and are fully conversant with the bike. The service manager (Lou) seems to be a straight shooter. Any of his 10 regulars on this forum?
Thanks guys.

If you don’t mind going about 20 minutes away from Folsom. There is a great shop called “Cycle Works” at 5526 Suite #1 Auburn Boulevard in Sacramento on the edge of Citrus Heights.
The owner is Steve Bryant 916-348-6005.
He pretty much runs his shop himself or at least he used to.
I found him after my Virago broke down when I was living in Citrus Heights about 5 years ago, and after Yamaha of Sacramento gave me a F*ING STUPID quote to repair my bike. I’m a girl you see... So of course like any proper mechanics in the industry they assumed I was just another dummy… :angry2:
Completely frustrated about Yamaha because I had towed my bike there a week prior and I thought they were going to help my situation… NOT…. I called the towing company back to get my bike out of there ASAP and since I was new in the area and had absolutely no clue where to go next, I asked the towing guy (it was a specialized motorcycle towing company) if he knew a shop who wouldn’t try to RIP ME OFF like Yamaha did.
He towed me directly to Steve’s shop 5 minutes down the road from the Yamaha dealer.
Steve repaired my bike for less then half of the $1500 Yamaha wanted to do the job…
I’ve never found a shop/mechanic as good or as HONEST as Steve since I moved down to Santa Barbara. I would definitively try giving him a call… B)
